Annie's work explores the invisible threads that connect people across time and space, the energy that forms when individuals encounter one another, even briefly.
Working primarily with portraits and urban scenes, She adopts a representational approach that moves beyond realism to explore expression and atmosphere.
Inspired by her travels, a background in interactive multimedia and computer programming, her practice blends acrylic, ink, spray paint, textile collage, and photography, merging the raw immediacy of street art with tactile elements.
“There’s an electricity in the way we cross paths, a sense that we leave marks on one another and the world". In her work, she tries to hold on to those moments and translate them into something that invites a feeling of connection, of being part of something larger.
