Kawartha Art Gallery is committed to safeguard, develop and celebrate, the rich and diverse talents of the Kawartha Lakes by working to engage and inspire the audiences of the Kawartha Lakes and beyond through extraordinary exhibitions and events and engaging art programming and education programs.

Cultural Champions help ensure the arts in rural Ontario not only endure, but grow and evolve, shaping a more vibrant, inclusive, and culturally dynamic region.

As a Gallery Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of the Gallery's activities, from educational programs to community events and receptions.

Ken Found exhibited a robust commitment to championing local artists, demonstrated through his  acquisitions from the Kawartha Art Gallery, the only public art gallery in the City of Kawartha Lakes. As a testament to this commitment, not only was Ken Found's art collection generously donated to the Kawartha Art Gallery, but also the creation of the Ken Found Art Fund held with the Community Foundation of Kawartha Lakes.

This fund is dedicated to assist in acquiring artworks by local artists and hosting events to enhance the visibility of Kawartha Art Gallery.

The Kawartha Art Gallery has been a pillar of the City of Kawartha Lakes community for almost half a century. You can help it continue by making it part of your legacy for the future of this community.
