This gathering will give you insight as to what it will be like to be a docent in our new space. We will speak to how your role will help the Gallery raise the profile of our permanent collection and connect even more deeply with our community.

Drop-in on Saturdays for FREE to have fun sculpting and molding with Crayola Model Magic and express your imagination with the visual art of drawing. Children ages 7-13 are welcome (children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult). Admission is a food or financial donation for A Place Called Home.

Hand-Print Holiday Wreath Workshop! 🌿☃️

Get creative this season with your little artist! Join us for a fun, hands-on craft session where kids will make their very own Hand-Print Holiday Wreath, a keepsake you won’t be able to keep your hands off! 🙌

Whether you hang it at home or gift it to someone special, this is one craft you won’t want to miss.

Ages: Recommended for ages 4–12. (All children must be accompanied by an adult.)

We invite visitors to view “Mini’s” remarkable transformation through Basia’s documentation of the conservation process — and to meet the “Mini” of today, a small but powerful testament to the value of art preservation. 

“Mini” will be on display in the Gallery from October 28 to November 29, 2025, with Basia attending the opening reception on Saturday November 8, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00pm at Kawartha Art Gallery to speak further on Mini’s conservation journey.
