The journey of this gifted artist began at the early age of 3. While playing with tempera paints, Markus displayed to his parents a raw, natural ability for expressing himself through art, a talent deeply rooted on both sides of his family. These creative inspirations would lead him to showcase his work at 9 years of age in the “Young at Art” section of the Kawartha Arts Festival. From that very first exhibition, Markus has garnered acclaim: earning awards, prizes and accolades, a diploma in hand-drawn animation, invitations to other shows, and commissions in Canada and abroad.
