The Adopt A Piece program offers individuals the opportunity to directly support the restoration and conservation of artworks within Kawartha Art Gallery’s Permanent Collection. Your contribution helps preserve the cultural and historical significance of these works, which belong to every resident of the City of Kawartha Lakes.

The Kawartha Art Gallery will soon have a new home. Previously located on the second floor of the Lindsay library, the gallery is temporarily closed until late fall when it will re-open in its new location at 19 Cambridge Street South.

Kawartha Art Gallery is proud to announce the launch of Seniors for Seniors, an innovative new outreach program designed by seniors for seniors. This sensory-based visual arts initiative brings practicing senior artists into long-term care homes, delivering engaging and inclusive workshops that foster creativity, connection, and well-being among participants.

On February 28, 2023, the City of Kawartha Lakes Council approved operational funding support for Kawartha Art Gallery in the amount of $50,000.00 per year for three years.
