Our New Home - An Update

September 30th, 2025 Update:
We know you have been hearing this for a while — and we are happy to confirm: the move is real, just slightly delayed.

As the only not-for-profit public art gallery in the City of Kawartha Lakes, Kawartha Art Gallery is proud to represent our community through inclusive, creative, cultural programming. 

Our new home at 19 Cambridge Street South, Lindsay is designed to help Kawartha Art Gallery grow that mission — strengthening the rural creative economy and reimagining the role of the arts in rural Ontario.

After a significant stumbling block, the stepping stones are now firmly in place — with the vision for 19 Cambridge Street South finally moving forward.

Linborough Properties and Kawartha Art Gallery can now confirm that Kawartha Art Gallery will be welcoming all to a grand opening at 19 Cambridge Street South, Lindsay in 2026.

While the Gallery is moving forward with an anticipated move in date of Spring 2026, this advancement has not been realized without the significant support of the City of Kawartha Lakes, Linborough Property Corp., and you, our community.

Kawartha Art Gallery remains forever indebted to the dedicated support of our community. Your support is building a legacy that will uplift the next generation of artists, creators and changemakers. In preparation for a Spring 2026 move, Kawartha Art will reopen in its current home at 190 Kent Street West in Lindsay on Saturday October 4, 2025, from 10am to 4pm.

The Gallery’s hours of operation are Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
