Curated Spaces
Curated Spaces is a collaborative program that connects local businesses with local artists, creating opportunities for creativity, visibility, and economic growth throughout the City of Kawartha Lakes.
Through this Gallery curated initiative, businesses become cultural ambassadors hosting curated artwork within their spaces and offering customers a richer, more engaging environment. At the same time, artists gain valuable exposure and the chance to connect with new audiences beyond traditional gallery settings.
Curated Spaces allows businesses to champion the arts while supporting a vital part of the local economy. This collaboration enriches our shared spaces and strengthens a sector that drives growth and community vibrancy.
Ontario’s cultural sector contributes $26–$28 billion annually to GDP and supports hundreds of thousands of jobs. In the City of Kawartha Lakes alone, it generates roughly $43 million in economic impact.
Presented by Kawartha Art Gallery, this program embodies the Gallery’s commitment to “For the art in everyone,” making art accessible, visible, and integrated into everyday life.
All the artwork listed is for sale and can be purchased through the Gallery.
