Andrea Macdonald
Andrea is a practising artist out of Norland, in the Kawarthas, surrounded by lakes, forests and wildlife.
As a child, the artist always loved to play with plasticine. The plasticine medium evolved from her first love into the inspired and accomplished work she creates today. Andrea studied in Florence, Italy for two years on a scholarship from the Ontario College of Art at that time, capturing ghostly abandoned villas in watercolours and pastel.
Andrea now works exclusively in plasticine on hard canvas, inspired by the natural beauty around her, especially wildlife.
