Artist Statement:
Amongst my collection of artwork, themes of identity, fantasy, idealisation, and popular culture are prevalent. I aim to convey my own perception of self and reality to the audience in order to feel seen and understood when I find it hard to do so with words.
My creations range across a variety of mediums, but digital art is the most common whether it be a digital illustration or animation. I also enjoy working with rougher textures such as oil pastel and sculpture as their forms are easier to manipulate. With the assorted mediums, I am able to convey my interpretation of the world in alternate realities ranging from digital multi-layered spaces to intimate physical canvases. The difference in texture offers a unique vision of the designed reality.
