At thirteen, during her first visit to London, England with her father, and in the wild, electric atmosphere of the 1960s, an artistic spark was lit—one that has never dimmed.
In her thirties, faced with a life-altering brain tumor, Rosen transformed crisis into catalyst. What could have ended cvcrything instead marked the true beginning of a deeply committed creative life.
Her work in Toronto's leading magazines, including Zoom, led to an invitation into The Circle-an exclusive group of European photographers. Through The Circle, she participated in exhibitions across Europe and internationally; from Scotland to Japan,
This international recognition led to a solo museum exhibition in Denmark, where members of The Circle traveled to join the opening —an extraordinary moment affirming both her vision and her place within an international community of artists.
A constant innovator, Rosen has worked ahead of her time-painting directly onto photographs before the digital era, redefining the visual language of interview-based media, and creating compelling work with minimal resources and maximum vision.
Her practice has expanded across disciplines, including music and live performance, and now turns toward legacy. Her current documentary project, Legends of Lightis dedicated to preserving the voices and creative processes of photographers from the analogue era.
